Neve VR 48 Legend (Quad) originally a 72 channel frame built in 1989 for a studio in Japan, cut down to 60 channels with a central producers desk, the owner is keeping 12 channels out of the 60 so it’s being offered now as 48 channels (plus 3 spares) plus the onboard patch bay in the 72 channel frame.

Also included is the stage boxes custom built for the studio owner.

Neil McCombie/ Scotch McNeil Audio decommissioned the board mid March and it is all packed up and stored at the old studio so can be collected or can arrange UK delivery at a cost.

It was fully re-capped when purchased in 2011 when it arrived in UK, along with centre section and power supplies.

Martinsound / P&G Flying Faders on all channels. On board Moses & Mitchell patch bay plus 2 stage boxes (1x40ch, 1x28ch) also included in the sale. Solo / Cut switches replaced with new bespoke LED versions from Neil McCombie/Gareth Connor.

The console has been maintained to the highest level by the in-house technician, as well as being commissioned by and receiving regular attention from Neil McCombie.

The console is in superb condition for its age and has been a remarkably stable and reliable workhorse, seeing use in the studio almost every day for over 12 years.

Regular maintenance by the in-house technician has kept this example running as smoothly as any around.

The quality synonymous with the Neve name is present in spades with this console and it will make a wonderful centrepiece for any professional level studio.
