Red Bus Studios – still going strong – had an MCI in the main studio for decades.

The studios have been used by George Michael, Duran Duran, Gloria Gaynor, Spandau Ballet, Tina Turner, Alison Moyet, Boney M, Goldfrapp, Jocelyn Brown, Soul ll Soul, Status Quo, Suede, Talk Talk, The Beach Boys, Tom Jones, Robin Gibb  and many others.

The channels have been cut to just the front panel input DI; mic/line pre-amp; and the 4 band EQ. It has individual mic and line input XLRs as well as XLR outputs.

The MCI JH-500 series is renowned for its huge headroom and punchy dynamics, thanks to big fat +/- 32.5 power supply voltage rails.

This fabulous console ruled London during the 80’s and countless hit records were made on it.
